Mahindra Racing launches Delhi ePrix competition

Mahindra Racing has asked fans to submit designs for a potential Formula E street circuit in Delhi, following a successful demonstration run at the Buddh International Circuit in early February.

The team has revealed that it has received support from the Indian Government to pursue a race in the country’s capital, and it is now giving fans the opportunity to design the circuit.

Mahindra Racing team principal Dilbagh Gill said: “We are looking for a track approximately two to three kilometres long, with eight to 12 turns and space for a pitlane and our garages. We are inviting fans to comment on Facebook and Twitter with their ideas. It can be a sketch, a map, a photo or simply a piece of writing, but we want to accelerate this project and get the race to India.”
