Did you know...Mortara was one of two Formula Three Euroseries drivers to win the prestigious Macau Grand Prix twice, having achieved back-to-back victories in 2009 and 2010?
Following a successful career in Formula Three and German DTM racing, Mortara joined Venturi Formula E team in Season Four. After a promising start to the season when Mortara finished second in Hong Kong in only his second Formula E race, the Swiss driver fell back, finishing the season in 13th place. Season 5 sees Mortara continue with Venturi alongside teammate Felipe Massa.
Born in Geneva in 1987, the Swiss driver first stepped up to Formula driving in 2006, starting out in Formula Renault, before graduating to the Formula Three Euroseries. As a former champion in the series, Mortara was one of two drivers to win the prestigious Macau Grand Prix twice, having achieved back-to-back victories in 2009 and 2010.
Moving to the German DTM Championship in 2011, Mortara competed in the series until his debut with Venturi Formula E team in Season 4.
