Formula E

Formula E is a new FIA single-seater championship and the world's first fully-electric racing series. Season 3 started in Hong Kong in October 2016 and will run until July 2017. The calendar features 12 races, to be staged in 10 of the world’s leading cities, including Paris, Montreal and New York. A total of 10 teams, each with two drivers, race on temporary city-centre circuits creating a unique and exciting series designed to appeal to a new generation of motorsport fans.

Role: VIP Experience Coordinator

Your role:
Your role will be in the area of VIP Experience and general event operations, reporting to the VIP Experience Manager - Operations. The team is responsible for developing, executing and selling the innovative range of Formula E Hospitality packages and events across more than ten cities globally.
The VIP Experience Coordinator will support the delivery of all on site catering elements including, EMOTION Club catering, Race Suite catering, Team & Crew catering, Media catering and coordination of relevant partner deals including MUMM Champagne & La Marzocco coffee machines. Provide support in the planning of onsite facilities, menu planning and approval, HACCP and collation of all Health & Safety/ Food Safety documentation in line with local & global regulations, budget coordination and reconciliation together with the Production and Finance departments.


The candidate will also support the coordination of the event day support team including the Brand Ambassador and local host/ess team amongst the following responsibilities:
- Coordination of the Formula E Global & Local catering partners with delivery of EMOTION Club catering, Race Suite catering, Team & Crew catering & Media catering
- Coordination and support to assist in tender processes and liaison with local caterers where required
- System development to better the booking process and onsite management for Team & Crew catering access
- Support in the review and collation of all HACCP documents, Health and Safety, Food Safety and procedures from all relevant catering partners on site with the VIP Experience Manager – Operations and Health and Safety Manager.
- Ownership of the Team Services inbox to collate and share relevant information between departments and teams.
- Day to day ownership of ePrix catering related communication with Formula e Teams
- Provide regular pre-& post event reports to Formula e appointed catering including catering figures, event specific requirements and service level feedback.
- Event week support delivering team services requirements specific to catering needs.
- Ownership of PO requests & tracking/ invoice reconciliation for the VIP Experience Team
- Support the VIP experience team with booking event staff/ coordinating schedules and event administration
- Offer support to the VIP experience team for sharing and collating relevant event documents including delivery logs/ set up schedules/ debriefs/Client feedback

EMOTION Club – the most premium race day hospitality offered at each Formula E event around the globe offering world class catering with a full day from 08:00-18:00 of food and beverages to the most VIP clients.
Race Suite – our private race day suites offered at selected races to the championship teams and partners to host a private area with a reduced catering offer open from 08:00-18:00.
Team & Crew catering – the hosted catering space offered to all staff, teams and partners, suppliers on site during the build and race day with breakfast, lunch and dinner services. Recharged to all accounts other than FE staff.
Media catering- a small offer of catering delivered to the Media Centre on Friday and Saturday of race week for the journalists and invited media to enjoy a basic but substantial offer of refreshments.

The successful candidate will be an experienced and confident individual capable of working solo and as part of a team. The candidate must have a good understanding of catering operations.


Skills & experience required:
- Minimum 2 years’ venue or greenfield site catering experience
- Ability to stay focused when working solo
- The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must be driven, enthusiastic and able to work with team across all departments
- Must be able to manage a high workload whilst maintaining professionalism
- Readiness to travel if required – will be not more than 15% travel annually
- English - Fluent, other languages are a plus specifically Spanish, French and German

Role: Graduate Graphic Designer

The Role
Formula E are looking for a bright all-round graduate Graphic Designer. You will be working as part of a strong in-house team led by The Head of Design. The work is interesting, varied and covers all aspects of marketing communications across digital, print, social media, environmental, off-air, on-air and online.

Experience required
You are about to graduate as a brilliant Graphic Designer from a reputable course.

You are passionate and knowledgeable about great Design and possess a lovely portfolio of interesting work that you’re able to talk about with authority and integrity.

We’d like you to have a digital bias, having designed and created assets across the complete digital spectrum. You need to be fully conversant in Adobe Creative Suite. We’d also like an awareness of print processes and it would certainly be an advantage if you possess some motion design skills.

You are helpful, easy going and approachable with a positive, can-do attitude and good interpersonal skills. It’s really important to us that you can work pro-actively either on your own or as part of a team, offering help and support to colleagues where necessary.

You also make a mean cup of tea.

BA (Hons) Graphic Design or equivalent degree-level education.
